Hi, I'm Sujil — your guide on the island.

I was born and raised in Hikkaduwa — a small surf town on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. Growing up between the reef, the temple and the fish market, I learned this island inside-out long before I ever called myself a guide.

In 2014, I started taking visiting friends-of-friends on quick day trips. One trip turned into ten, ten became a hundred, and now — over a decade later — I run small, personal tours across all of Sri Lanka with a tiny team of trusted local drivers and friends.

I don't believe in cookie-cutter itineraries. Every traveler I meet wants something different — surf at sunrise, leopards by jeep, tea-country trains, or just a cold King Coconut on a quiet beach. My job is to listen, plan well, and then disappear into the background so the magic of Sri Lanka can do its thing.
